Flos Ktribe T2 Table Aluminized Silver

One of many lamps designed by Philippe Starck for FLOS, the K Tribe range is very simple in design but also very effective in its appearance. The polished aluminium stem and base support the head which comprises an inner white opal polycarbonate diffuser that hides the lamp source over which sits an outer PMMA diffuser.  This is the clever bit as, when the lamp is off it cannot be seen through but when on, it has a translucent appearance and the light comes through, highlighting the shape of the inner diffuser.

The power flex includes a dimmer to allow different light levels to be set.
